Welcome and Thank You!

We would like to welcome and thank you all for taking the time and interest in our blog which is designed to allow everyone to stay abreast with everything that is going on with what is sure to be a very busy and joyous time in our lives. We intend on keeping this as up to date as necessary with the kind of information (cliche included) that would interest all of you. The more participation, the better, so feel free to ask questions or make comments and we will respond as quickly as possible. Both of us will be adding posts and responding to comments. I'm sure it will be fairly easy to determine who wrote what based on the "lingo". Thanks again and we look forward to hearing from everybody.

Mason takes New York!

Fathers Day weekend we took a trip to NY to visit family that Mason had not met yet. We left on Tuesday night and stopped in VA in order to break up the trip. When I made the hotel reservations I specifically asked for a crib and they said they had them.  Well when we checked in they said that specific hotel doesn't have cribs! So Mase got to sleep on the pull out couch.  I couldn't help but capture this.....it was so funny!

Friday was my mom and step fathers 15th wedding anniversary so we went to Nicks for dinner. This is a must stop every time we go to Binghamton.  Here is Mason sitting with us at the table.

Wednesday morning we headed to Binghamton for the weekend. Mason got to meet his Great Grandparents, Great Aunts and Uncles and Second cousins! On Saturday we had a cookout at my moms house to celebrate fathers day.  My Aunt Kelly came from Maryland and Kurt's Aunt Claudette, Uncle Kerry, and cousin Sky Noelle came from Oneonta to visit Mason. Skye who is 7 asked if she could have Mason for 1 day! So cute!  Before everyone got to my moms house Kurt took Mason in the pool to cool off!!  He seemed to like the water!  Here are some pictures from Saturday.

On Sunday we went to my Dads house for a Fathers Day cookout. My grandparents, aunts, uncle and cousins came to meet Mason.  It was a gorgeous day, which was rare in upstate Ny. We all had a good time and everyone loved Mason. Here are some pics from the picnic.

The weekend in Ny went by fast but we were all exhausted after the trip. We have a week in Charlotte before we go on vacation to the Dominican Republic. Today we didn't even leave the house! Much needed day to relax!!!!
